Sheffield landmarks old and new adorn the glittery snow filled landscape of our Sheffield snow globe necklace, including the Crucible, Winter Gardens, and the fondly remembered looming chimneys of Tinsley Viaduct.

We asked local Sheffield residents for their favourite buildings and landmarks to adorn this Yorkshire skyline. Can you identify their top picks?

From our illustrations we created a new view of Sheffield placing the iconic architecture together. Our snow globe began as a series of drawings which we then combined digitally. These are fed to Bertha, our laser cutter, who transferred their outlines onto FSC certified Birch wood. We then hand painted each element using beautiful pearlescent mica-infused inks to make the city skyline pop.

Mixing 3 types of glitter to create the perfect snowy dew over the city gives our snow globes extra glisten and sparkle.

The city is cut from FSC certified birch plywood and the Sheffield name plaque is cut from FSC certified solid cedar wood, with the globe itself cut from clear acrylic.

We'll post the globe to you in one of our wax sealed boxes, hand stamped by team Frilly.
