who are frilly industries?

I started out with my company We Are Frilly, helping others embrace their creativity by designing and delivering art projects, but I was neglecting my own creativity.

Building the Frilly empire

'Frilly' is about remembering to have fun, not everything has to be serious.  Being ‘Frilly’ reminds me to remain playful, whether that’s in my work with people, my process of making jewellery, or in how I dress and most importantly accessorise.

After working with a local company to laser cut a series of public art with a local school in Birmingham, the obsession to own one went from a dream to a plan.

There was no concern over knowing how to use a laser cutter, there was no business plan, just a belief that I totally could and would make it work. As a maker I’m process driven, I like to play and explore with materials, and ensure that there is scope for my own creative expression. If you can’t back yourself then how do you expect anyone else to support you too?
