Transforming the classic wooden chain necklace and making it bolder and brighter with handpainted colour palettes to make a statement: big, chunky wooden chain links paired with a lightweight, contrqasting aluminium coloured chain. Looks great against any colour garment, it makes Summer delicate floaty dresses look powerful and pops against Winter rollneck sweaters.

Inspired by the chain that drops the anchor, we wanted to create something that was strong and tough whilst remaining colourful, bright and bold.

This necklace has 5 links of two graduating sizes and the loop is completed by a chunky antique bronze look chain.

The largest link is 6 x 3.5 cm and the smallest link is 2.5 x 4cm. Full length is approximately 20in.

Each necklace is hand painted by me, in my JQ studio in Birmingham, England, on FSC certified birch wood, meaning it’s from a sustainable forest.
